P.J.
Roup began working at his father’s video production company,
Network Video, in 1989. Upon his father’s relocation to Florida
in 2004, he assumed operation of the company. Dissatisfied with
the dated name, he took the great risk of renaming a company
that had such wide recognition in the community. “I knew that
there would be a risk in changing the name that so many had come
to associate with quality production, but I knew that we needed
to be able to more adequately communicate that there is truly no
dream that we can’t capture on video.” The risk paid off. Now
the Pittsburgh area associates Dreamscape with professionalism,
creativity, artistry and quality in all aspects of production,
from set-up to final product.
PAUL ROUP –
PRINCPAL FLORIDA VIDEOGRAPHER
Paul Roup,
P.J.’s father, has been a video production specialist since 1984
when he founded his first company, Network Video in Plum. Paul
now operates Dreamscape’s Florida Branch and services beautiful
destinations from Tampa to the Keys. Paul notes the difference
in wedding styles. “Weddings in Pittsburgh were much more
formal. Here, they are less structured and more carefree. Even
though there is less formality, I work just as hard to capture
every special moment as it occurs.

CAMERAS
1. Dreamscape uses Panasonic, Sony, JVC and Canon products. We
have the ability to shoot in HD, miniDV, DVCPro, full size DV,
and VHS. Final edits can be delivered to the client in a variety
of formats, both online and hardcopy, but most often in DVD.
EDITING
EQUIPMENT
Dreamscape edits all footage on a
state of the art MacPro with 32 gigabytes of RAM, 2 Terabytes of
Hard Disk space and a 3.4 Gigabyte RAID array. The speed and
backup capabilities ensure that your project is delivered
quickly and stored safely. All original footage is retained for
a minimum of two years.
